Founder and Principal Attorney
Ioannis (John) P. Sipsas is the founder and principal attorney of Sipsas P.C. Mr. Sipsas focuses his practice on business law, international trade matters and commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, before the United States Court of International Trade and the United States Southern and Eastern District Federal Courts of New York and The United States of the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Before practicing law, Mr. Sipsas worked as a chemist for the United States Naval Research Laboratory and a Fortune 500 company, where he directed research and development and product development.
Mr. Sipsas received a J.D. from New York Law School, an M.B.A. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University and a B.A. in Chemistry, cum laude, from Queens College of the City University of New York. Mr. Sipsas is also the holder of seven U.S. patents. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Chemical Society, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the Customs and International Bar Association and the Manhattan Chapter (Delphi 25) of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association. Mr. Sipsas is fluent in Greek.
Matthew London is an Associate Attorney at Sipsas P.C. He is admitted to practice law in New York State. Mr. London earned a BA in History and Chinese Language from Hofstra University and a JD from New York Law School.
Gina Nikolaou is an Associate at Sipsas P.C. She is awaiting admission to the New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. bars. She earned a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. in Government and Politics from St. John’s University. Ms. Nikolaou is fluent in Greek.
